JTEX SHOW ROOM 27SS Paris

We are honored to exhibit at an upcoming show in Paris, joining hands with fellow Japanese makers.
This time, we bring new textile proposals—pieces that embody the essence of our brand, shaped over five years of exploration and refinement.
☆ LIISA — A Textile That Carries the Warmth of Sheep
To create this textile, we began by honoring the wool that grows slowly over a year, enduring both harsh winters and scorching summers. We developed an exceptionally thick yarn that reflects this resilience and reverence. The result is a textile that feels like the healthy body of a sheep itself—warm, alive, and grounding.
Through previous exhibitions in Europe, we rediscovered the expressive power and flexibility of handweaving. Embracing this insight, we wove LIISA on a large handloom, allowing the technique and concept to return to our origin. LIISA is a foundational textile—both in philosophy and craft.

☆ OKD contemporary — A Touch Realized Through Layers of History
We believe that today’s technologies and global networks allow for new kinds of textiles to emerge. For OKD contemporary, we used ultra-fine yarn spun from 13.5μ ZQ-certified Merino wool sourced from New Zealand. This precious yarn was entrusted to Mr. Yoshinobu Okido of Okido Orifu in Nishiwaki, Hyogo, with whom we engaged in deep dialogue about the very meaning of “weaving.”
Using a custom-built loom, wool and cotton were interwoven at an ideal density and structure, resulting in a textile where every element of the material is harmonized. OKD contemporary is a fabric born from both tradition and innovation—a tactile expression of time and care.
