We have begun our sheep farm research in collaboration with Shimane University.  Our current focus is on testing grass production and water management. This study is also related to RWS certification. In addition, NHK will soon broadcast a documentary program featuring our project. We were interviewed extensively for it!

We have had a shearing season now. Much to our delight, the wool is of such wonderful quality that our sheep may have had a good year.  We are looking forward to seeing what products this wool will be. We are preparing a farm operation manual based on the RWS certification criteria with experts. A  Chairman and Manager of KE’KEN Textile Testing & Certification Centre ( https://www.jwif.org/english/ ) visited our farm and consulted how to achieve it. We will have an ongoing relationship with them.
